Reimagining Mander Rec
Description of Project
Working with a landscape architect firm, Studio Zewde, we facilitated an arts based community engagement process for Mander Recreation Center and Playground. This process laid the groundwork to create a proposal for the center’s masterplan and redesign.
The goal of this engagement process was to gather real input from residents of the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood and engage them in the design process. As part of this engagement process, we continued to build and foster community relationships established through our previous work at the Hatfield House, while simultaneously widening the outreach to include members of the community not yet reached.
