Environmental Justice Brigade

Description of Project

Amber Art and Design has been partnering with Summer Search since 2020 to lead the Environmental Justice Brigade. This is a program for high school students that focuses on the role of public art in enhancing and interrogating the values and potential of the environmental justice movement. Students studied interlocking crises of racism, the COVID-19 pandemic, and climate change with attention to how the arts can be utilized to form solutions.
