Raíces y Reflejos

Description of Project

Raíces y Reflejos is a collaborative exhibition at Fabrica de Arte Cubano in Havana, Cuba featuring work by Linda Fernandez, an artist of Cuban and Puerto Rican heritage living in Philadelphia, and Jerry Reyes Mora, an Afro Cuban artist living in La Habana, Cuba. The two artists create designs and paintings mixing symbols of Afro Cuban culture and Caribbean culture in the diaspora.  This cultural exchange reflects the stories of their heritage; connecting information of the past to the present.
