The Village Table

Description of Project

Table Alchemy: The Village Table was a community project in partnership with the Village of Arts and Humanities and Philadelphia Food Trust. Working with neighborhood artists, including accomplished chefs Taion Carter and Maurice Williams, and nutritionists from the Food Trust, we collected recipes from local cooks and reimagined them using local produce grown in part at The Village’s on-site farm. Our engagement concluded with a series of community dinners where we served dishes made from collected recipes.
